Introduction to Easun Lithium Battery

introduce

A single battery is usually too small in terms of storage capacity or voltage. To solve battery maintenance issues or extend the running time of connected loads, it is usually necessary to increase storage capacity.

It may be necessary to increase the voltage to reduce the system amperage through various components or meet the requirements of the charging controller. By connecting the battery in an appropriate way, the necessary electrical system requirements can be easily achieved.

Battery connection type

You can connect the battery through any of the following methods:
1. Series connection
2. Parallel connection
3. Series parallel connection

Series connection leads to an increase in voltage and a constant current, while parallel connection leads to an increase in current and a constant voltage. Series parallel connection leads to an increase in voltage and current.

Precautions and Rules
Rule 1: Safety first

Avoid short circuits at battery terminals to prevent irreversible damage to the system and battery caused by current bursts.

Verify polarity before wiring to avoid irreversible damage to the battery caused by polarity reversal.

To ensure the safe and reliable operation of the system, please follow the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications when fixing cable connections. Excessive tightening may cause terminal breakage, while loose connections may cause terminal melting or fire.

Series connection
Connecting a battery in series increases the voltage without changing the amperage or capacity of the battery system. To connect multiple batteries in series, connect the negative terminal (-) of one battery to the positive terminal (+) of another battery and perform the same operation on the remaining batteries.

parallel connection

Parallel connection of batteries can increase current or capacity without changing the battery system voltage. To connect multiple batteries in parallel, connect the negative terminal (-) of one battery to the negative terminal of another and perform the same operation on the positive terminal (+).

Series parallel connection

When it is necessary to increase the system voltage and current, a series parallel connection is required. A series parallel system is a combination of series and parallel connections, forming a series parallel circuit. Some components are connected in series, while others are connected in parallel, forming a complex circuit composed of interconnected devices and batteries.
